“I am the reincarnation of Pocahontas,” says Ayanna. “Pocahontas is my thirteenth great-grandmother. My dad is related to her by blood, and my mother and grandmother on my mom’s side are related to her through John Rolfe, her husband.”

Ayanna says that she was convinced she was “spiritually” connected to Pocahontas when she woke up one day with the feeling that she was sharing her body with someone. Wanting physical proof that she could be Pocahontas, she says she examined a picture of the Native American side by side with one of herself and saw similarities in their nose, cheekbones, ears and neck bone.

“My purpose is to bring healing between the colonists and the natives. I want to be the portal for that,” the 24-year-old says. “I also want to bring Pocahontas’ reincarnation to the fullest and live her best life while I still have it.”

In the video, Dr. Phil reviews a list of Ayanna’s behaviors that Robert and Robin say are problematic for them, and hear about her tumultuous relationship with her father.
